Welcome to GameHub. By inviting the GameHub bot to your Discord server, interacting with any of its slash commands, browsing this website, or signing in to our web dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please remove GameHub from your Discord server and discontinue using our website and dashboard.
Eligibility and Server Administration
To use GameHub, you must meet the minimum age required by Discord in your jurisdiction (typically at least 13 years old, or older if specified by local law).
If you invite GameHub to a Discord server or configure server settings (such as setting deals channels, giveaway feeds, or role pings), you confirm that you have the necessary administrative permissions (such as Manage Server or Administrator) within that Discord server.
Description of Services
GameHub is an independent gaming companion designed to enhance your Discord community. Our core features include:
- Automated Deal & Giveaway Alerts: Regular monitoring and posting of free games and discounts from Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and other stores into designated server channels.
- Game Intelligence & Lookups: Slash commands providing game reviews, HowLongToBeat completion statistics, Steam Deck compatibility, system requirements, and patch notes.
- Squad Gamer Cards: Optional gamer tags and friend code sharing via /setid and squad profile links.
- Key Vault & Key Drops: Community tools for server members to share unused game codes with friends.
- Web Management Dashboard: An authenticated interface to manage server alert channels, test notifications, and manage personal wishlists.
Acceptable Use Guidelines
We strive to keep GameHub fast, reliable, and accessible for everyone. When using our bot and website, you agree not to:
- Spam or flood slash commands with the intent of degrading bot performance or triggering rate limits.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attack our server endpoints or database.
- Use GameHub to distribute malware, malicious URLs, scam promotions, or counterfeit product keys.
- Circumvent or attempt to bypass security measures, authentication checks, or rate limiting mechanisms.
- Impersonate GameHub staff or claim official endorsement from GameHub without permission.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in a permanent ban of your Discord user account or server from using GameHub.
Third-Party Stores, Pricing, and External Links
GameHub is an informational indexing service. We are not a digital storefront, video game publisher, or payment processor.
When you click a link provided by GameHub, you will be taken directly to the third-party merchant (such as Steam, Epic Games, GOG, Humble Bundle, or the Nintendo eShop). Any transaction you complete is strictly between you and that merchant.
Some external store links may include affiliate tags. These affiliate relationships help offset the hosting and database costs of running GameHub at no extra cost to you.
Game Key Vault and Community Key Drops
GameHub includes community sharing features such as /keyvault and /keydrop. These tools allow server members to share extra or duplicate game keys with friends.
Users are strictly prohibited from using the Key Vault to distribute stolen keys, fraudulent credentials, or cracked software.
Service Availability and Maintenance
We take great pride in maintaining high uptime and snappy response times. You can inspect live uptime and component statuses anytime on our System Status page.
However, GameHub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Temporary downtime may occur due to scheduled maintenance, hosting upgrades, network disruptions, or outages within the Discord API itself.
We reserve the right to modify, optimize, add, or retire specific commands or dashboard features to improve stability and service quality.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the GameHub team and its developers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Under no circumstances shall GameHub or its developers be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the bot, incorrect pricing data, missed deal opportunities, or actions taken by third-party stores.
Removal, Suspension, and Blacklisting
You are free to stop using GameHub at any time. Server administrators can kick or ban the bot from their server whenever they wish, which immediately stops all alert broadcasts to that server.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate access for any user or server that violates these Terms of Service, abuses our infrastructure, or engages in malicious activity.
Updates to These Terms
As GameHub expands and introduces new tools, we may update these Terms of Service.
When changes are made, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page from time to time. Continued use of GameHub following any revisions constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
